What is an Affirmation?

An Affirmation is a positive statement about yourself or a situation that involves you. Affirmations send positive messages to your brain, to re-train it, and to the Universe.
You are creating your future right now, in this moment, with the words you use and the thoughts you choose.

Affirmations are most effective when stated verbally and with true intent. You should always believe your affirmation, although this can be quite difficult or amusing initially, do persevere! A good way to test your belief is to say your affirmation to your reflection in the mirror, if you can't look yourself in the eye and affirm with conviction then perhaps you feel you do not deserve Love, Joy and Happiness in your life.
Everyone deserves to be happy, it is your right as a human being so choose it! You accept love into your life Now, Today, in this very moment and in All moments that follow.

You should never "Want" in an affirmation, this sends out a message to the Universe that you "Want" something - always wanting something actually equates to an eternity of moments that you are not receiving something! Always "Choose" and choose what you feel is truly best for your highest good and for the good of those around you.

Your power is always in the present moment, you can't change the Past, but you can move on from it. You can't see the Future but you can prepare for it, pave the way with positivity and love. You can only achieve this by living in the Present.

Be ready to receive what you have chosen. A good example of this is the following affirmation: "I Deserve ___________ in my life, I Choose to Accept it Now"

The mind can be very powerful. After years of conditioned thoughts it may take a while to recondition. You never give yourself anything that you cannot handle, as you are the creator of your destiny/life here on this earth. So start by making your life happier, each day find something to be happy about. When you find yourself feeling low about something STOP! And change your mind GO ON YOU CAN IF YOU CHOOSE.
