More about this chakra: The fifth centre, the Throat or Vishuddha chakra is linked to creativity, clear communication and freedom of expression. Healing of this chakra aids sore throats, flu, high blood pressure, thyroid gland (which will affect the metabolism) anger, frustration and problems with expressing one's truth. If this chakra is out of balance the symtoms may include an inability to listen, fear of speaking the truth and stuttering. If you do experience a block in this chakra then you could visualise the colour Blue and imagine that this chakra is opening up like a lotus flower, inside the flower visualise a wheel spinning and becoming brighter and brighter Blue, all dark areas within the flower are slowly taken over by the colour Blue and you see it become more and more intense. When this is done imagine that the lotus flower petals slowly close up over the chakra and ask in your mind that this chakra be cleansed, closed and protected.
